This swirl flap plug is developed for BMW N57N and N57Z 3.0 diesel engines and is used to close the hole left in the inlet manifold when the swirl flaps are removed. It provides a simple and precise solution for modifying the intake system on the relevant engines, where a correct and sealed finish is wanted after removal of the swirl flaps.

The plug is installed in the opening left in the inlet manifold, and when the swirl flap motor housing is refitted, it helps keep the plug securely in place. This makes the solution suitable for repair work, preventative modification and performance projects where a clean installation in the intake system is wanted.

The swirl flap plug is made from 6060-T66 billet aluminium and is supplied with Viton O-rings, which ensure good sealing and are suitable for use in demanding engine environments. It is produced with a focus on consistent quality, precise fitment and a durable solution for BMW 3.0 diesel engines in the N57N and N57Z range.
